International C-PROM

The International Competitive Programming & Multimedia Competition (International C-PROM) is an esteemed annual event organized by the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Perlis Branch. Designed to showcase the creativity and technical skills of students in programming and multimedia, the competition is open to both local and international students from universities and institutions of higher learning.

Since its inception in 2011, C-PROM has grown from a campus-level competition into a globally recognized platform. Initially exclusive to UiTM Perlis students, it began expanding its reach in 2017 to welcome participants from local and international institutions. Over the years, the competition has seen participation from countries such as Brunei, Thailand, and Indonesia, making it a truly international affair.

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the first virtual edition of International C-PROM in 2021 was a remarkable success, attracting participants from diverse regions and further solidifying its global footprint.

International C-PROM 2023 marked another major milestone, recording the highest number of participants to date, with enthusiastic entries from over 10 institutions. The event successfully integrated hybrid components, allowing for seamless participation both on-site and online. The competition also saw significant improvements in technical execution, judging standards, and global outreach, establishing 2023 as one of the most impactful years in C-PROM’s history.

Now in its 14th year, C-PROM 2025 continues to uphold its mission of nurturing young talent and fostering innovation in programming and multimedia. With both on-site and virtual components, this year’s edition aims to provide an inclusive, dynamic, and inspiring experience for all participants across the globe.
